4. Service Terms
The following terms apply to all lawn care services we provide. By requesting or receiving services from Shenandoah Edge, you agree to these conditions.
Service Agreement Summary
- Services are provided subject to a confirmed quote and your approval of scope and pricing.
- No work will begin without your explicit agreement — by phone, text, email, or form submission.
- Seasonal programs are offered as a convenience; no long-term contract is required.
- We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service at any property at our discretion.
- Results may vary based on lawn condition, weather, soil type, and other factors outside our control.
- We are not responsible for pre-existing lawn damage, disease, or conditions not disclosed at the time of assessment.
Service Guarantee
We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with a service we've performed, please contact us within 48 hours of the service date. We will assess the situation and, at our discretion, re-perform the relevant portion of the service at no additional charge, offer a credit toward a future service, or provide another appropriate remedy.
Our guarantee applies to the quality of work performed under normal conditions. It does not cover damage caused by weather events, drought, pest infestation unrelated to treated areas, foot traffic, pet activity, or conditions beyond our control.
Property Condition
You represent that you have the legal right to authorize us to perform services at the property address provided. If you are a tenant, you confirm that you have obtained any required landlord or property owner consent.
Please notify us before service of any known hazards, buried utilities, irrigation systems, sensitive plantings, or other conditions that may affect our work. We are not liable for damage to unmarked or undisclosed underground utilities, irrigation lines, or other hidden features.
5. Quotes & Pricing
All quotes provided by Shenandoah Edge are free of charge and carry no obligation. Quotes are based on information provided at the time of request — including property size, lawn condition, and service type — and are subject to change following an in-person assessment if conditions differ materially from what was described.
- Quote validity: Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified.
- Price changes: We reserve the right to adjust pricing with reasonable notice, particularly for recurring services where conditions or scope have changed.
- Seasonal programs: Program pricing is set at the start of the season and will not change mid-season unless scope is modified at your request.
- Additional work: Any work beyond the agreed scope will be discussed and approved before it is performed. We do not perform unrequested work and then invoice for it.
6. Scheduling & Property Access
To perform services efficiently and safely, we ask that you observe the following:
- Access: Ensure that gates, fences, and access points to the service area are unlocked and accessible on scheduled service days. If access is blocked and we cannot complete the service, we reserve the right to charge a trip fee or reschedule at our discretion.
- Pets: Please ensure pets are secured indoors or away from the service area during our visit. We are not responsible for pets that escape through open gates during service.
- Obstacles: Please remove toys, furniture, hoses, vehicles, or other obstacles from lawn areas prior to our arrival. We will work around objects we cannot move, and we are not responsible for damage to items left in service areas.
- You do not need to be home: Most services can be completed while you are away. You will receive a notification when service is complete.
- Weather: We may reschedule services due to unsafe weather conditions (heavy rain, lightning, extreme heat, frost). We will contact you as promptly as possible in the event of a reschedule.
- Cancellations: You may cancel or reschedule a service appointment with at least 24 hours' notice at no charge. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee at our discretion.
7. Payments & Billing
Payment terms are as follows:
- One-time services: Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made in writing in advance.
- Seasonal programs: Program invoices are issued per the schedule agreed at the time of sign-up (per visit, monthly, or end-of-season as applicable).
- Accepted payment methods: We accept major credit and debit cards, ACH/bank transfer, check, and cash. Payment methods are subject to change with notice.
- Late payments: Invoices not paid within 30 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee. We reserve the right to suspend service on accounts with outstanding balances.
- Disputes: If you believe an invoice is incorrect, please contact us within 14 days of receipt. We will investigate and respond promptly.
